Bianca
Director
Bianca is a South Portland native; she graduated from South Portland High School in 2012. She obtained her degree in Early Childhood Education from SMCC in 2015. She is a mother of one with a background in administrative work, theatre, and love for all things Disney. She currently lives in South Portland with her husband, Zander, and their daughter, Saoirse. She is thrilled to be part of the Chickadee family!

Kim
Infant Coordinator
Kim has worked with children in schools and early education settings for many years. She is a mother of one with a background in education, theater, and technology. Kim comes to Chickadee excited to care for children and help them learn through exploration and play.

Isa
Chickadees
Isa attended Region 10 Technical High School and dual-enrolled with SMCC as part of the Early Childhood Education Program. She worked at the Community Preschool in Brunswick for 2 years and spent a short time with Riverview Martial Arts doing after-school care. Isa is thrilled to be able to meet and teach so many amazing children at Chickadee.

Alison
Chickadees
Alison has worked with children in preschool and elementary settings for many years. She is a mother of two daughters, and her passion has always been to help children grow in nurturing and safe environments. She is so excited to be part of such a kind and compassionate team!

Kristina
Chipmunks
Kristina excited to join the Chickadee team! She graduated from Keene State College in 2021 with a bachelor’s degree in environmental studies and sustainability. She is looking forward to building relationships with the children and helping them flourish and grow as little beans!

Keegan
Curriculum Coordinator/ Playful Kits
From the very beginning Keegan has always been interested in helping and caring for others. She was a CNA for 6 years prior to entering the childcare field. One summer she chose to work part time at a daycare and ended up loving it. She learned that she really enjoys watching and assisting the children grow up and move onto their next developmental mile stones.

Izzy
Chipmunks
Izzy has worked for both Boston Public Schools and the YMCA in Greater Boston for over 4+ years. She has a year of experience with ABA therapy as well. She has worked with kindergarteners and has gone as high up as working with middle schoolers. Izzy graduated from the University of Maine class of 2020. Fun fact - Spanish is her first language!

Safa
Little Fawns
Safa graduated from Portland High School in 2019. She worked at The Children's Museum and Theater of Maine, and this is what sparked her love of working with children. Working with kids and giving them a nurturing and safe environment has always been her passion!

Harmony
Little Fawns
Harmony is a graduate from Brunswick High School and Region 10 Technical High School's Early Childhood Education Program. She has always loved working with children in various summer camps and an after school program and is so excited to get even more experience in child care working at Chickadee.

Keely
Tiny Cubs
Keely recently moved to Maine from New York City. She has several years of experience working with infants. She also was an English tutor in France for 3 months this past Spring. She is excited to be here at Chickadee to provide loving care for your children.

Haley
Tiny Cubs
Haley was born and raised in Portland, graduating from Deering High in 2012. She has two children- one boy and one girl, they are her entire world. She always knew from a young age she wanted to work with children, she started childcare in 2015! Haley is so excited to care for your little ones and love them as if they were her own!

Prodige
Assistant Teacher
Prodige graduated from Gorham high school in 2020. He decided to work part time over the summer at a daycare center after graduating and ended up loving it. He can speak 3 languages fluently! He looks forward to learning from his co-workers and the kids here at Chickadee!

Samerra
Assistant Teacher
Samerra was born and raised in Portland and graduated from Deering High school spring of 2022. She is majoring in Psychology and has always enjoyed interacting with children as she has younger siblings. She looks forward to continue working with the little ones as they grow and learn new things!

Taylor
Assistant Teacher
Taylor is a South Portland High School graduate of 2020. She is currently attending the University of Southern Maine with the hope to apply her Social & Behavioral Sciences major to the classroom. She looks forward to seeing the kids' personalities evolve and flourish as they transition from one room to another.

Molly
Assistant Teacher
Molly is studying to receive a BFA in Photography at Maine College of Art and Design. She has always had a passion for working with children and is excited to bring her excitement for the arts into Chickadee.

Becca
Assistant Teacher
Becca graduated from Gorham High School in 2014. She’s always had a passion for teaching children new things and watching them grow. She has 7 years of experience working with children 6 weeks through 12 years. When Becca is not working, she likes to spend time with her friends and family. Becca is very excited to be a part of the Chickadee team!

Rylee
Assistant Teacher
Rylee has worked in the Early Childhood industry for 3 years. Her positive and bubbly energy brings a word of warmth to our children's days. She is so excited to be sharing your child's early learning journey with you!

Emily
Playful Kits
Emily Graduated from Bonny Eagle High School in 2018. As someone who has always been passionate about caring for people she started off her career as a CNA for almost 4 years. After her son was born, she realized her passion for working with children and was a toddler teacher for well over a year. Emily is very excited to be a part of the Chickadee team and hopes to continue to grow her education in Early Childhood.
